I am a Clinical Psychologist working in private practice. I have 10 years of clinical experience across a wide range of settings, including mental and physical health, both in the NHS and private sector. In my work I draw on a number of therapy models and approaches including cognitive behavioural models, systemic and integrative approaches to understanding mental health conditions.
My specialist interest and training lie within the Psychoanalytic/Psychodynamic Psychotherapy model of work with adolescents and adults, which particularly focuses on the inner world and its influence on relationships and problems. I am an accredited Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT) Practitioner.
In terms of weight management, and eating difficulties, I tend to work relationally with my clients, placing importance on their relationship with food and their bodies, and how this parallels with their experiences of relating to the world and others.
Every intervention I offer is tailored according to the individual’s needs. I offer both short-term and long-term therapy in English and Bulgarian
